Got another local event in the bag last night. Jace and I went to Downtown LV to watch their pride parade, and it delivered. While there were a lot of political endorsements before and during the parade, we will not be covering them here due to Tribalbeat rules. Without further ado, let's get the pics in!
TG: Here's the back half of Wells Fargo's entry. Kid needs to control his credit card spending.
JG: Hey! Those inflatable husbands are important to me!
TG: No, Jace. They're not.
TG: On a more religious note, Here is the local chapter of Buddhists. Unlike Western religions, Buddhism is more open about sexuality, and in some ways, makes more sense than the God-fearing crap you see in Alabama.
JG: Ryker's told me everything about that!
TG: Didn't know Ryker was Buddhist.
JG: I meant the preacher stuff, Tyler.
TG: Same float, but with Taiko drums.
JG: Oh yeah, you love those!
TG: Here's Barclays's entry. All we need is love indeed.
JG: I keep forgetting. Do they make rum or vodka?
TG: What? What the hell, Jace? They're a bank.
JG: Hot guy alert! Hot guy alert! He's no Noel, but I'd take him home.
TG: You need a chill pill. Go watch a nun's sermon.
TG: The LV Men's Chorus. Being tone deaf, they'd kick me out before I could audition.
JG: Maybe Dusty can join.
TG: No, he can't. What part of Las Vegas Men's Chorus don't you understand?
TG: This was like the tenth float that played "Born this Way" If I hear that song one more time, my ears'll bleed!
JG: You're so mean. Some of us love that song. There's more music than metal you know.
JG: Amazon! Yay! Go them for hosting the novel!
TG: *scratches head*
TG: Last float I took pics of. It's the sex worker union. Something my younger cousin definitely needs.
JG: That's it, Tyler. I quit! I'm done helping you write this stupid blog, and you can do the next one on your own!
TG: Wait, kid, come back! Didn't mean to say that! Hello? Anyone here? Whatever. That's it for the parade. Noel came with Jace, too, but he'll post his thoughts on the book club tomorrow. He was a little under the weather last night so he couldn't make it to the parade.
